Anthony S. Faucidiary entry
Global – 13,800,000/594,000; USA – 3,640,000/139,000. Cases continue to surge. News cycle dominated by reports of conflict between me and the Trump insiders (see below) Petitions from multiple scientific organizations going around to sign on in support of me. Comm situation becomes even crazier. Despite Caputo saying that he is now “calling the shots and not the White House (see above), Alyssa Farah called me and said that Jake Tapper wants me this week and she will put me on for Tuesday. I explained to her what Caputo said and she told me not to pay attention to him since he is a big problem. She even said that it would be better if he stopped tweeting about Roger Stine and concentrated on his job, things would work better. Anyway, I am caught in the middle. Let us see how this turns out. PRESS: Article in New York Times by Mark Leibowich - “Whats Happening” to Dr. Fauci is the Buzz. – Description of the tension against me and for me; Long article in Washington Post by Philip Rucker, Laurie McGinley, Josh Dawsey and Yasmeen Abutaleb “Attacks on Fauci undercut response”. Also article in CNN blog by Vivian Salama, Pamela Brown, Kristen Holmes and Kate Bennett quite critical of Birx for selling out to trump and compatring me and Deb; Also another New York Times Article by Giovanni Russonello “Most Americans Put Their Faith in Fauci”; Boston Globe by Kevin Cullen: “The Crusader doctor and the non-crusading judge” – comparing me from Holy Cross and Chief Justice John Roberts from Harvard – cute article
