I have reached out to Scott to give him a fair chance to explain to me exactly how he feels about children getting infected and the issues with letting community spread happen. We obviously differ here. He and White House feel that we can let children get infected in schools since they do not get sick and we just need to protect the vulnerable in Nursing Homes. Fallacious thinking since there are many not in Nursing Homes who are vulnerable such as obese people, diabetics, hypertensives, etc. ALSO, many reports coming out now about long term cardiovascular and brain effects in younger people who were not even sick enough to go to the hospital, and who were merely home in bed for a couple of weeks. ALSO, more younger people dying. Of note, I was the only one of the Doctors in the TF who was noit invited to be present in the Sit Room for the Governors’s call today.
