Anthony S. Faucidiary entry
Global – 50,500,000/1,300,000; USA – 10,000,000/238,000 Patterns are the same. Weekends see a dip in cases due to lack of weekend reporting. Then we get into the week and we break daily records. Country still on fire and getting worse. 122,000 cases yesterday! POTUS still insisting that the GOP won the election. Completely alternate universe. Kayleigh and GOP Senators (Graham, McConnell, Ted Cruz) all prostituting themselves by supporting the POTUS’s baseless claims. Heading towards a constitutional crisis. See below the states that are increasing: Janet Tobias interviewed President George W. Bush for her documentary and he was really funny. He sent me a message “…..hang in there; the country needs you” and he said “…I would have been able to kick your ass in running; the security detail used to be not able to keep up. I hear that you power walk now and I damn sure can’t run anymore at 74, let alone 79”. 😊 I received virtually a citation from Eric Adams Borough President of Brooklyn at a ceremony on the steps of Borough Hall. It was called COVID Heroes. The other heroes cheered me on during my acceptance speech. Had my every 2 week meeting with the David Barr-organized people in the trenches to talk about the dire situation with >100,000 infections per day and major increases in hospitalizations: LaQuandra Nesbitt (DC), Alison Arwady (Chicago), Sharon Balter (LA), Jeff Duchin (Seattle), Demetre Daskalakis (NYC), Preetha Iyengar (NOLA). Clearly Scott Atlas is dead wrong. PRESS: MSNBC with Andrea Mitchell; Connecticut East – NOVA podcast; CNN Jake Tapper – “The Lead”; Interview with Sheryl Stolberg (New York Times)
