Jim Jordan during the House Energy and Commerce Select Committee on COVID-19 chaired by Jim Clyburn and Steve Scalise as Ranking Member. Jordan did his usual aggressive asking me multiple questions without giving me a chance to answer. He was harping on my giving him a definite date when he can get his “liberty and freedom back” that I was restricting him from. I insisted that this was not a matter of liberty and freedom, but was a public health issue.We had a heated discussion. I finally told him that he was “ranting”. In addition, I told him that he was making this a personal issue. He denied that, but I insisted that he was indeed making it a personal issue. Finally, when his time was up he kept on talking and representative Maxine Waters told him to shut up. PRESS: All over TV in my clash with Rep. She seemed to side with me.
