Starting on Monday August 23rd she will be the governor of New York State replacing Andrew Cuomo who resigned affective August 23rd related to the sexual harassment scandal in which he was involved. The conversation with Kathy was very positive and she is very interested in working very closely with me and getting advice from me regarding how New York State should handle the explosive outbreak of the delta variant. I received an email late in the evening from Elizabeth Alexander the communications director for the first lady Jill Biden. She wanted me to edit an opinion piece that the first lady was writing for Time magazine .
