Continued attacks from far right.. “National Pulse” talking about a book soon to come out by Peter Navarro that attacks me. Just found out that Nicholas Erickson of the Republican National Committee has been FOIA-ing my emails as well as “copies of Anthony Fauci’s scheduled meetings, appointments, scheduled events, outlook calender events, and aily briefing books between the dates 6/1/21 to present” (Sept 2, 2021) Preparing for the Nov. 4 Senate HELP Hearing. Rand Paul has sent letter to me, Rochelle, Dawn O’Connell and Janet Woodcock asking if we would be willing to testify under oath. This is completely unusual for a minority who is not even the ranking minority to make such a request . It is very clear where he is going with this. He wants to be able to tweet after the hearing that whatever I said was lying underoath similar to what he had said before. I doubt very seriously whether the chair of the committee, Patty Murray, will allow this. However, we shall see. Did the Stubing Lecture of the Greenwall Foundation this evening. It was a fireside chat moderated by Sanjay Gupta who interviewed Christine and I in front of a virtual audience of a noteworthy because of the extraordinarily polished performance that Christine gave in the fireside chat interview.
