They felt that this is something that they would likely do but that it would take at least two years for those countries to stand up their plants even if the technology was transferred. Their idea was a two-pronged approach. First, they are ramping up their capability of producing vaccine and by the end of 2022 they feel that they will be able to produce a total of 3 billion doses. They would be happy to make those doses available at a lower tiered price to the developing world. In addition, they agreed that they would participate in a longer range plan to transfer technology 2 low and middle income countries to make their own vaccine. If this is possible which I believe that it is, then we could probably vaccinate the entire world that wants to be vaccinated within the next year and a half.
