Jeff is as wonderful on a personal basis as he is professionally. His home at 4500 Garfield Street, NW is absolutely magnificent. • Jeff Zients Called me this evening giving me a heads up that he might want me to write a one page memo the president Biden explaining to him the situation in India particularly with regard to the variants. I convinced him that it might be better to arrange for a phone call between me and the president so that I could respond to his questions rather than have him receive a memo that he would have questions about.
