Anthony S. Faucidiary entry
GLOBAL USA POTUS Press Briefing - I was called to the White House to help to prepare the President for the press briefing that he would give this morning at 11:45 AM. I got to the White House at 10:00 AM and went over his speech with Jeff and Natalie and went over the Qs and As that the President would need to prepare him. We then went to the Oval Office and directly briefed the President . In the Oval Office were Natalie, Jeff, Jake Sullivan, the vice president, Ron Klain, Jen Psaki, and a few others. We tweaked the Qa and As and helped him answer them in his own mind and then the President, the vice president, and I went out to the press briefing which took place in the Roosevelt Room. They only needed me to answer one of the questions that was asked of the President and that related to the travel restrictions on southern Africa and what we were doing right now to prevent people from other countries who might be infected with Omicron from coming into our own country. I explained that now anyone coming into the country who is not an American citizen needs to be vaccinated as well as having a test before they get on the plane whereas American citizens and LPRs need to be tested before they get on the plane and when they get off the plane they are quarantined voluntarily for seven days and must get a PCR test within three days.
