Hi Larry- I think it’s time for another face to face meeting with you. Last week we had a large meeting of clinicians at Hopkins. We presented some of our findings and it has caused a bit of a stir. The Director of ODNI has asked for a brief next week and I wanted to clear the meeting with you and get some feedback on the things I might tell her. They have set the meeting for next Wed in McLean. I have not responded yet. I have time during the rest of this week and Monday also looks good. We will need about an hour. You may recall that in October, myself and Joe Morosco from the ODNI’s National Counterintelligence and Security Center briefed you and and other HHS/NIH personnel. DNI Avril Haines has heard that you and other medical professionals recently gathered in Maryland (as we have heard, dubbed the “Maryland Summit”) to discuss medical aspects of AHI. DNI Haines would like to receive a back-brief of that meeting. Due to her limited availability, her staff has already scheduled that meeting for next Wednesday, 15 December, from 1-2pm.
